Reboot, rebuild and recover FOAM

Over the last 7 years LITFL has grown from a simple blog to an online education resource. We have learned a huge amount over this period and tried to share as much of this knowledge as possible with like-minded medical education altruists.

To this end we have assisted with blog migration, optimisation, performance, SEO, coding and provided free hosting to >100 FOAMed blogs. Thankfully we have been ably assisted in our endeavour to provide free online medical education by IT specialists such as The Frontier Group who have provided effective philanthropic support to a cause they believe in.

Unfortunately a recent significant attack by robotic hackers and drones laden with hidden code viruses and trojan spam has left the FOAM server a pockmarked assemblage of steaming metal. We are working hard to overcome this virulent insult and provide an aseptic learning environment as soon as possible.

We will reboot, rebuild and recover – but this will take some time.

We thank you in advance for your patience and sincerely apologise for your educational inconvenience.
